Our 4 commitments

Data storage and use

All memories, conversations and personal information are stored on encrypted servers. We use them solely to build the avatar's personal DNA and to make the conversations possible.

• Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored with providers that encrypt it at rest
• User data is never used to train general AI models
• Information is never sold, and never shared for marketing
• Backups are kept by the storage providers, under their own backup policy
• Complete, permanent deletion on request, within 30 days

AI transparency

The avatar is artificial intelligence, not the person themselves. We believe this transparency is essential to a healthy, respectful experience.

• Every conversation screen carries a notice that this is an AI persona and that the answers are not the person's own words
• It will never impersonate a living person or claim to be a real one
• It will not give answers that contradict the known values of the departed
• Conversations are kept in the family's account to improve the persona, and can be deleted

Sensitivity to grief

We are aware that our product touches deeply sensitive subjects. MemoAgent is not a substitute for mental health care, grief counseling, or professional support.

If you are struggling with the grieving process, we recommend reaching out to a professional. The avatar can serve as a supporting tool, not as the only answer.
