In plain language — the questions that really matter

Who can see the album and the memorial page?

By default — no one except the family members who were invited. A memorial page is born private; only the account owner or an appointed manager can make it public, and then anyone holding the link can view it. It can be switched back to private at any moment, with one click.

What happens if I stop paying?

Nothing is deleted immediately. When the subscription ends, a 30-day grace period begins in which everything remains available and we send reminders. After it the account is suspended — the content is kept but not accessible — and final deletion happens only 60 more days later. In total, about 90 days to renew, change your mind, or export everything. Renewing the subscription restores the album exactly as it was.

Who narrates the stories in the album? (Disclosure)

The narrations in the album are generated by artificial intelligence — in a narrator's voice, or in your loved one's reconstructed voice if the family uploaded recordings and explicitly approved it. Voice reconstruction is done solely from recordings the family itself uploaded and is used only for your profile. The conversational figure is always identified as an AI figure — we never present it as a living person.

Can everything be exported or deleted?

Yes. Deleting a profile removes the photos, recordings, conversations and the reconstructed voice from all our systems — including at the voice provider. For a full export of your data, contact us by email and we will respond within 30 business days. Full details in sections 5 and 7 below.

1. Introduction

MemoAgent ("the Service", "we") is a platform for creating a living album and a memorial page in memory of a dear person who passed away — their photos, stories and voice, based on memories that their family and loved ones entrust to the Service — alongside a digital figure for continuing the conversation. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are.

The Service operates in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Data Security), 5777-2017, and all other applicable Israeli law.

2. Information we collect

Information you gave us directly:

  • Account details: name, email address, encrypted password.
  • Details of the departed: name, date of birth, date of passing, gender, family relation.
  • Content you uploaded: photos, voice recordings, WhatsApp chat exports, biographical texts and memories.
  • Conversations with the avatar: messages sent and received in the chat interface.

Information collected automatically:

  • IP address, browser type, access times — for security and operations.
Please note: the Service handles sensitive information about people who passed away and about their family members. We apply strict security measures as required by law.

3. How we use the information

We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:

  • Creating and updating the DNA profile and the digital avatar.
  • Identity verification and account security.
  • Improving the Service on an anonymous, aggregate basis.
  • Responding to support requests.

  • Conversations with the avatar: kept for improving DNA quality.
